Reflect: While not especially uplifting, this is important. Your words have weight. They pack a punch or they lift someone up literally to the next level. 1. Tell about a situation where someone's words tore you down and/or built you up. 2. Choose two of your peers and one adult figure (parent/teacher/etc.). 3. Choose your words carefully and write 1-3 sentences for each person with words that will motivate, inspire, and lift them up. Your words should not be generic but specific to that person and from your heart. 4. In a few sentences write the person's reaction and how it made you feel.

Reflect: Yes, this is saying that your anger, your rudeness, your lack of compassion to yourself, your family, friends, classmates, teachers, and even total strangers... it's KILLING you! So... what are you going to do about it? 1. When do you find it difficult to be kind? To whom do you find it difficult to be kind? 2. Find three instances that you can be kind to different people in different situations. It must be sincere and deliberate (not an accident). 3. Record the reactions of the people who experienced your kindness. 4. Record any impact it had on you (in the moment or over the course of the day/week).
