Video 2:
To This Day
Highlights: "...that all of this... is just debris, eftover when we finally decide to smash all the things we thought we used to be, and if you can’t see anything beautiful about yourself, get a better mirror, look a little closer, stare a little longer, because there’s something inside you that made you keep trying despite everyone who told you to quit, you built a cast around your broken heart and signed it yourself, you signed it “they were wrong”..." (There are too many wonderful parts of this poem to choose. To read it all: http://www.tothisdayproject.com/the_poem.html )

Kid President: Pep Talk
Highlights: "This is your time, this is my time, this is our time." "We can make every day better for each other. If we're all on the same team, let's start acting like it." "We've got work to do. We can cry about it or we can dance about it!" "You were made to be awesome."
Video 4:
Olaf: Think Positively
Highlights: Olaf and Sven going for the carrot (goal) - realizing it was harder than it looked but trying everything and not stopping at anything to reach it. Olaf realizing that things are not always what they seem and you can't jump to assuming the worst about someone.

"Help Me, Help You"
(Start at the 1:11 mark until the end)
Metaphors: Jerry = teacher, Rod = students, game = learning, money = grades
Highlights: "Let's bury the attitude a bit... get back to the guy who first started playing this game. Remember? Way back when you were a kid? It wasn't just about the money." "I am out here for you. You don't know what it's like to be me out here for you. It's an up at dawn, pride swallowing siege that I will never fully tell you about. Help me to help YOU."

Highlights: Seeing the change in those he went out on a limb for; seeing the change in the initial haters of his good deeds; seeing how he benefited from his choices.
Video 7:
Fail Harder
Metaphors: basketball player / athlete = you, the student
game = learning
making mistakes on the court = taking a chance in class
(raising your hand when you're not sure, trying all of that difficult assignment,
putting forth real effort when your friends are clowning around...)
Highlights: "I've never seen somebody afraid to fail. Pride and ego have taken the forefront of the athlete's work ethic, pushing back the vulnerable mentality it takes to improve one's game." "Show me a player who doesn't make mistakes and I'll show you a player who's not getting better." "Don't worry about what you coach may think. Don't worry about your friends judging you. Nobody. Any coach who bashes you for taking a risk and making a mistake is no longer a coach; he's a critic. Any friends who judges you for your mistakes in practice aren't your friends anyway. While they're busy critiquing, let's get better. Let's see who really has the last laugh."
