LATE WORK, MAKE UP WORK, AND REVISIONS
LATE WORK / MAKE UP WORK: |
ALL work submitted after the original due date is considered late, regardless of reason. Although work is still accepted for full credit until the "last date accepted," it is still officially late.
You MUST attach a signed late work slip to any late work, if you would like it graded. Excused absences receive no additional penalty. Unexcused absences or regular late work receives the penalty of moving to the last priority in my grading (which could potentially take a few weeks if there are other assignments in line to be graded). However, I do not take off points for any late work. Lesson: If you want your work graded on time, be responsible and submit it on time. A lack of planning on the part of the student does not equal an emergency for the teacher. Please click the link below for more information and a late work slip. |
Revision Work: |
Revision work will require the approval and signature of the teacher. (This work will also be turned in the yellow Late Work box, as it is still being resubmitted after the initial due date.) Approval will only be granted on assignments were legitimate effort is evident. Approval will not be granted for independent work, as you had the one week grace period to finish your work to turn it in complete by the "last date accepted." The revision process is to allow you to learn from your initial mistakes in order to gain further learning and understanding.
